Job Description

Based at Seaton Grove Care Centre, Seaton Road, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 1 Fixed.

Most of the employee\’s time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. There may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week.

Seaton Grove is a residential care centre providing support to permanent residents and short stay respite places.

The Seaton Grove management team is made up of the manager and 5 senior social care officers who share a duty rota.

Working 30 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, on a rota basis, each member of the management team carries responsibility to manage all staff groups and are delegated responsibility to provide supervision and appraisal to individual staff members.

The management team are responsible for the accommodation and care service provided to service users, and ensuring that service standards are achieved, including consultation and involvement of service users in all aspects of their care.

The senior social care officer on duty is responsible for the unit in the manager\’s absence.

Please note interviews will be held week commencing Monday, 17 November 2025.
