Based at South Links Caravan Site, Traill Drive, Montrose, DD10 8SW. In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. This is an exciting opportunity to work at Montrose Basin Local Nature Reserve (LNR). We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the natural environment to act as Wildfowling Warden to provide a wardening service for all wildfowling activity associated with the LNR.
As Wildfowling Warden, you will work a varied shift pattern based around sunrise and sunset, on a part-time basis, throughout the peak of the wildfowling season from early September to mid-February. You will represent Angus Council, providing a point of contact for wildfowling on the reserve and support the issuing of wildfowling permits via Angus Council’s online booking system, as well as carrying out regular goose monitoring and reporting.
