The Opportunity Looking for a role where you can make a difference, learn new skills, and get paid while you do it? This Modern Apprenticeship with the Resettlement & ESOL team is your chance to kick‑start a career that really matters. You’ll be part of a team that helps new Scots and people and families on UK Resettlement Schemes build new lives in Angus — supporting community activities, creating digital content, keeping information up to date, and being a friendly point of contact for those who need it. No two days will be the same, and you don’t need experience. What we care about most is your enthusiasm, your kindness, and your excitement to learn. You’ll get hands‑on experience, try out real tasks from day one, and build skills in communication, digital media, admin, and teamwork. And the best part? You’ll do it all while working toward a nationally recognised qualification that can open doors across the council and beyond.

This job is temporary for up to 18 months from date of appointment. Self selection interviews will be offered during the period 13th April - 15th May.

Employment Checks/Registration

You will need a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check for this role. It shows any unspent convictions, certain spent convictions and other notified information. We will arrange this as part of your recruitment if you are successful.
