Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar. Work style: Hybrid+ (work from home part of the week and time in council buildings for meetings and collaboration). Angus Council is seeking a knowledgeable and organised New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) Coordinator to support the effective management and coordination of road and street works across the Angus area.

The role involves administering and monitoring statutory processes under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, including permits, notices, inspections and coordination of works by statutory undertakers and the Council. You will work closely with internal services, utilities, contractors and external partners to minimise disruption to the travelling public while ensuring compliance with legislation, codes of practice and local policies.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and experience of roads or street works administration within a local authority or similar environment.
