Based at Lochlands Resource Centre, 2 Cairnie Road, Arbroath.

This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed. In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

You will work 21.75 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You will work as part of a team to support and enable adults with learning disabilities, including people with complex disabilities. You will be required to support individuals with personal care and also support for eating and drinking while promoting dignity, independence and well-being.

You will also be required to support service users with various activities which have been identified through assessed need such as rebound therapy, adapted bikes, hydro-therapy, swimming as well as attend community groups and in-house activities.

Requirements:

  • You must have the ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
