Job Description Based at County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work.

Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Community Alarm & Telecare Technician to support our Community Alarm Service.

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of community alarm and telecare equipment, helping people remain safe and independent in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities Install community alarm and telecare equipment in customers' homes.

Use digital tools and software to configure equipment and test connections.

Provide support and guidance to service users, families, and carers, ensuring they are confident and familiar with the equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.

Maintain accurate stock records and manage equipment inventory.

Ensure all work is completed in line with service procedures and health and safety requirements.

Training.

Full training will be provided, so previous experience in community alarms or telecare is not essential.
