Help us assess the condition of our homes and shape future investment across Angus.

Following a comprehensive review of Angus Council’s Housing Service, we’re expanding our new Asset Management Team and recruiting one permanent and four temporary Stock Condition & EPC Officers.

\n

This is a great opportunity to play an important role in assessing the condition and energy performance of almost 8,000 council homes across Angus.

\n

You’ll carry out stock condition surveys and energy assessments, produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), assess properties against relevant national standards and ensure our asset information is accurate and up to date. The information you gather will help shape future investment decisions and planned maintenance programmes, supporting our aim to provide safe, sustainable and well-maintained homes for our tenants.

We’re looking for people with relevant technical knowledge, a strong eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and independently. If you’d like to use your skills to make a practical difference to our homes and the people who live in them, we’d love to hear from you.

There are five positions available. One position is permanent and four positions are temporary for up to 23 months from date of appointment.

\n

You will be asked to indicate on your application form which position/s you are applying for.

For the temporary positions, internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.

\n
