Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar. This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid. You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and forward-thinking ‘People & Organisation Development’ Specialist to join our team and play a key role in developing our organisation to meet future challenges. You will have the ability to lead impactful work across the areas of culture and behaviour, strategic resource management, and organisational design and development. In this role you will get the opportunity to shape the direction and create lasting positive change for our workforce and communities.
You will be confident in influencing and collaborating at all levels, supported by a relevant degree (SCQF 9) and appropriate professional membership. Additional experience or qualifications in leadership, coaching, organisational development, or change would be an advantage. With broad experience across the people profession underpinning your way of working, you will have a proven track record in delivering people and change initiatives.
Digitally capable and consultancy minded, you will have the ability to communicate clearly, work in line with our values of fairness, respect, integrity, collaboration, and people focused, and be able to build strong relationships with ease whilst supporting a forward-thinking agenda. You will be proactive, adaptable, innovative, and highly organised, with the ability to work both independently and within a team, with a commitment to continuous development.
The role requires flexibility across locations, along with access to a vehicle and a full driving licence.
