This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid. You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

Angus Council is seeking a knowledgeable and organised New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) Coordinator to support the effective management and coordination of road and street works across the Angus area.

The individual will be responsible for administering and monitoring statutory processes under the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991, including permits, notices, inspections and coordination of works by statutory undertakers and the Council. Working closely with internal services, utilities, contractors and external partners, you will help minimise disruption to the travelling public while ensuring compliance with legislation, codes of practice and local policies.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and experience of roads or street works administration within a local authority or similar environment.
