The Opportunity
Begin your career by learning how the buildings around you are created and kept safe. As a Modern Apprentice in our Building Standards team, you’ll be part of a friendly group who check building designs, visit real sites and make sure projects across Angus meet the right standards. You’ll earn a salary while building skills in reading plans, using digital tools and supporting the work that ensures the health, safety and welfare of people in and around buildings. You don’t need any technical experience to get started — just an interest in how things work, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. We’ll support you as you develop confidence, gain practical experience and work toward recognised qualifications that can open the door to future careers in Building Standards and Building Surveying.
This job is temporary for up to 24 months from date of appointment.
