The Opportunity

Ready to kick‑start a career that lets you shape the world around you? As a Graduate Apprentice in Civil Engineering, you won’t just be sitting at a desk — you’ll be out on real sites, solving real problems, and helping to keep the roads, bridges, and communities of Angus safe and moving. This is your chance to earn a wage, gain hands‑on experience, and work towards a fully funded engineering degree at the same time. You don’t need to have all the answers yet — what matters most is your curiosity, motivation, and excitement to learn how big infrastructure works.

One day you could be helping inspect a bridge, the next you’re supporting drainage solutions or contributing to major improvement projects that thousands of people rely on. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team of engineers who’ll show you the ropes, help you build confidence, and guide you as you take on more responsibility. You’ll also join site visits across Angus — meaning you’ll need a valid driving licence to travel between locations.

Who Can Apply?

You can apply for this opportunity if you have or will have:

• Four Scottish Highers (or equivalent) at Grade B or above, including Maths and a science or engineering subject (Physics is preferred), or other relevant subjects, or equivalent qualification, or Foundation Apprenticeship, or relevant construction experience.

Helping You Feel Prepared for Interview

If you’re invited to interview, we’ll make the process fair, supportive and free of surprises and you can choose a date and time that suits you and the recruiting manager.
