Based at County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar, DD8 3LG. This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed. In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. You will be responsible for the delivery of community meals to supported people living in their own homes across Angus. You will work on a rota basis, weekend off/weekend on over 7 days.
Your responsibilities include:
- Loading ovens with frozen meals and taking temperature checks.
- Loading hot meals into hot box for transportation in the van.
- Vehicle cleaning and checks, carrying out routine maintenance on the vehicle (charging and fluid levels).
- Transporting goods, equipment and personnel.
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of vehicles using mechanical aids where necessary.
- Following strict health and safety procedures at all times.
- Complying with all data protection law in the processing of personal and special categories of personal data.
