Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar. This job is workstyle 5 - Hybrid+. You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
Angus Council is inviting applications from talented, adaptable and enthusiastic candidates to complement our Utilities & Services Engineering team to fill a Building Services Engineering Technician role. An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a full-time permanent Building Services Technician within our Utilities and Services Engineering team.
In addition to joining a supportive and welcoming team within the Building Services Engineering team, the post also offers a competitive salary and all the benefits of working for a public sector organisation, including flexitime, hybrid working and entry to the Local Government Pension Scheme. Angus Council is committed to working flexibly and equipment will be provided to support working from home. We are looking for applicants with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, the desire and ability to work collectively and become a key team member.
The workload will be varied, challenging and interesting. You will be supported in a collegiate environment and encouraged to develop a full range of Building Services Engineering and other skills to advance your career with us.
