This post is for a Trading Standards Authorised Officer. The post will involve a commitment to register on the Chartered Institute of Trading Standards Qualification Framework and complete Stage 1 of their training to gain the Trading Standards Practitioner Certificate. This role involves all aspects of Trading Standards duties including consumer advice, business compliance and scam prevention. An enthusiastic and flexible approach is essential to deal with a wide and varying workload. Placing within the grade will be in accordance with the professional career grade structure.
