Based at Seaton Grove, Seaton Road, Arbroath. This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed. In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.

We are looking for workers with resilience who have the right personal skills and experience to support our residents. You will provide a service for older adults with varying needs, including physical disabilities and dementia. Duties include ongoing assessment and review of service users' needs, assisting with daily living tasks, participation in social and recreational activities and responding to emergency situations.

You should have excellent communication skills and have the ability to assess a situation and take appropriate action. Ideally, you will have an SCQF Level 6 in Health & Social Care, or a willingness to undertake and achieve this within an agreed timescale. Our services run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the working pattern supports this. This role is on a rota-based system. You are required to carry out waking night duties for which an allowance is payable.
