Based at Seaton Grove, Seaton Road, Arbroath DD11 5DX. This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed. In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. You will work 20 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our team at Seaton Grove Care Centre. You will help us to ensure that the tasks of simple gardening and general maintenance of external and internal areas are completed to a high standard.

You will undertake driving of allocated vehicles including completing the routine maintenance of the vehicle (for example oil and water checks). You will also carry out minor repairs to fabric and furnishings. You will replace light bulbs/tubes and fuses (up to 60 amp) and examine ball-cocks and water fittings. You will inspect cleaning equipment to ensure safe operation. You will be expected to follow strict health and safety procedures at all times and undertake & record Health & Safety checks including Fire Safety throughout the building.

You will be required to support service users, whilst accompanied by staff to attend appointments & social activities (via minibus). You will be required to collect prescriptions from various GP locations.
