Based at 24a Strathairlie Avenue, Arbroath, DD11 1LN, with work at various locations across Angus. This role is hybrid, allowing you to work from council buildings, service user locations, site visits, and from home as needed.
This is a 36.25 hour per week temporary position for up to 23 months from the date of appointment, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.
We are looking for a suitably qualified ESOL tutor to join our Resettlement & ESOL Service. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering ESOL lessons for adults and young people
- Conducting language assessments and providing accreditation for learners
- Managing and recording performance, producing reports and evaluating outcomes
Required qualifications and skills:
- Ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme
- Relevant ESOL teaching experience and qualifications (refer to the job outline and person specification for details)
Hours and location: 36.25 hours per week, with flexibility for evenings and weekends. Work locations include council buildings and service user sites across Angus, with the option to work from home. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed during the recruitment process.
