We are seeking a Motor Mechanic with Auto Electrical Experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, fault finding and repairing electrical systems and equipment on an assortment of vehicles. Knowledge of repairing and rebuilding rotating electricals would be an advantage. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with customers' vehicles.
  • Communicate face to face with customers and clients.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing all tasks.
  • Utilise hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or motor mechanic in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to auto electrical work.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for installations or repairs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in auto electrical work are advantageous.
