We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician or Mechanic with a strong electrical knowledge to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle systems and possess the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify electrical and vehicle faults.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on cars, vans, commercial vehicles and plant electrical systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts.
- Diagnose issues using specialised diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
- Carry out heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely and effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and work completed for each vehicle.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist in ordering parts and managing workshop inventory as required.
- Good communication skills with customers.
