About I am working with the world's largest independent insurance broker, renowned for delivering innovative risk solutions and exceptional client service.

Their Transactional Risk team advises private equity sponsors, corporates, lenders, investors and their legal advisers on specialist insurance solutions that facilitate complex transactions across the UK and Europe.

As the team continues to grow, Lockton is looking for commercially minded real estate lawyers who are interested in building a career in transactional risk insurance.

This is an excellent opportunity to step away from traditional private practice while remaining closely involved in high-value real estate transactions, working alongside leading investors, law firms and insurers.

The Role As a Title Broker (Associate) within the Transactional Risk team, you will advise clients on title insurance solutions for complex real estate transactions.

Working alongside experienced brokers, you will help assess legal risks, structure insurance placements and manage transactions from initial instruction through to policy placement.

Key Responsibilities Advise clients on title insurance solutions across a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.

Review title reports, due diligence findings and transaction documentation to identify insurable risks and opportunities.

Structure and market title insurance submissions to insurers, negotiating competitive coverage and commercial terms on behalf of clients.

Manage transactions throughout the placement process, acting as the key point of contact between clients, law firms and insurers.

Work closely with real estate lawyers, investors, lenders, developers and other advisers to deliver effective risk transfer solutions.

Negotiate policy wordings and coverage to meet clients' transactional objectives.

Build strong relationships with insurers, law firms and clients while contributing to business development initiatives.

Keep up to date with developments in the real estate, legal and transactional risk insurance markets.

Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Transactional Risk team to deliver market-leading advice and client service.

About You Qualified lawyer with approximately 5-10 years' post-qualification experience, ideally specialising in Commercial Real Estate or Real Estate Finance within a leading private practice law firm.

Strong understanding of commercial property transactions, title issues, due diligence and transaction documentation.

Interested in transitioning into a client-facing, commercial advisory role while remaining involved in complex real estate transactions.

Naturally analytical, with the ability to identify legal risks and develop practical, commercial solutions.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging with clients, insurers and legal advisers.

Commercially curious, proactive and motivated to build a career within the fast-growing transactional risk insurance market.

Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, deal-driven environment.
