Angove Partners is partnering with a global insurance company, seeking an M&A Claims Associate in the United Kingdom. It’s an exciting time for the business, which is expanding into new jurisdictions and solidifying its position as a market leader globally. This opportunity has the option of being fully remote.
What is the role?
This role has a focus on M&A insurance claims. The team specialises in Warranties & Indemnities and Tax Liability insurance.
What will you be doing?
- Autonomously administer and negotiate claims.
- Review and respond to incoming enquiries from clients and brokers.
- Review and prepare notifications, manage the claims process, consider coverage and deal with settlements.
- Negotiate with markets to achieve the best outcome.
- Create comprehensive and accurate documents detailing claim facts and coverage issues.
- Develop strong relationships with markets.
- Advise on policy wording improvements based on insurance law and claims experience.
What do you need to apply to this role?
- PQE 2 - 8 years of experience in a law firm, preferable with experience in Insurance Recovery/M&A Litigation.
- Understanding of M&A legal documents (e.g. Sale Agreements, DD reports, data room documents).
- Entrepreneurial with good negotiation skills.
