Angove Partners is partnering with a leading boutique Insurance Broker based in London, seeking a Business Development Associate to assist in their ambitious growth strategy.
As a member of the business development team, the Business Development Associate will handle a variety of work-streams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will be very hands-on, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in facilitating interactions between the insurance brokerage firms and private equity firms and other potential clients.
What will you be doing?
- Originate and develop new W&I insurance opportunities, building a strong pipeline of mid-market and large-cap M&A transactions
- Build and maintain relationships with private equity sponsors, corporates, investment banks, law firms, and other deal advisers
- Assisting the structuring, placement, and negotiation of W&I insurance policies across buy-side and sell-side transactions
- Act as a trusted commercial adviser to clients throughout the deal lifecycle, from early engagement through to completion
- Drive market visibility through networking, thought leadership, and active participation in industry events
- Work closely with insurers and internal teams to deliver innovative and competitive W&I solutions
What do you need to apply to this role?
- 1-3 years in Sales Industry, with demonstrated sales success ideally within a PE/M&A setting.
- Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing.
- Strong negotiation skills.
