We are working with a top three insurance broker who are seeking to hire a Placing Wholesale Casualty Broker (US Casualty) in London. This position is a great opportunity to join a market-leading company and gain exposure to all facets of the US Wholesale Casualty market.
Responsibilities include:
- Place U.S. wholesale casualty risks, including primary and excess general liability, auto, and umbrella programs
- Negotiate pricing, terms, limits, and coverage with U.S. admitted and non-admitted carriers
- Review and analyse retail broker submissions, loss runs, and exposure data to position risks effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with U.S. casualty underwriters and retail brokers
- Manage binding, policy issuance, endorsements, and renewal placement activity in compliance with U.S. regulatory requirements
About you:
- 3–7 years of experience in U.S. wholesale casualty brokerage or underwriting
- Solid working knowledge of U.S. primary and excess casualty lines (GL, Auto, Umbrella)
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate terms and manage placements with admitted and non-admitted carriers
