Responsibilities
- Review client documentation to ensure that the information presented is comprehensive and accurate to support the quoting process.
- Collate and communicate client requirements to ensure appropriate marketing of, and insurance solution for, the risk.
- Prepare or check market presentations.
- Liaise with clients; advising, investigating and resolving queries ultimately resulting in becoming a trusted advisor.
- Be aware of, and satisfy, territory, tax and legislation requirements.
- Respond to market and third‑party queries as appropriate.
- Produce high‑quality and compliant market documentation ensuring appropriate authorisations are secured.
- Assist in the review of product wordings to ensure these are appropriate to the requirements of clients and territories.
- Ensure up‑to‑date records are maintained at all times on the internal systems.
About you
- Knowledge of the credit market.
- Preferably a Leveraged Finance background from a bulge‑bracket bank.
- Relevant credit insurance experience is not necessary although evidently welcome.
- Good understanding of the relevant regulatory environments and their requirements pertaining to risk transfer between banks and insurers.
- Sound understanding of general and principles of banking.
- Consistent record of supporting teams to deliver high levels of client service.
- Willingness to undertake business development as we look to increase our banking client base.
- Willingness to travel at times, given our client base is truly international.
