Angove Partners are working with an independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker. With a strong global footprint and an inclusive, collaborative culture, this firm offers an exciting opportunity for a technically strong Client Services Technician to join their dynamic Non-Marine division in London.

This role will sit within a highly experienced client services team that supports broking operations across a range of specialty lines including Financial Lines, Construction, Casualty, Property and Renewables. The successful individual will act as a key technical support across global business units, working closely with broking teams and international offices to deliver high-quality service and documentation. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a high-paced environment and is passionate about technical delivery, stakeholder collaboration and global client engagement.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide technical support to broking teams globally, including preparation of renewal statistics and placement documentation
  • Produce and review client and market documentation (slips, endorsements, debit/credit notes, evidence of coverage) with a strong understanding of contract wordings and clauses
  • Ensure compliance with Contract Certainty, regulatory frameworks and internal process requirements
  • Maintain accurate records within internal systems and broking platforms
  • Submit slips and LPANs to XIS Bureau and use key London Market systems such as the IMR and Lineage portals
  • Respond to global client queries and data requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Build relationships with clients, brokers, and market representatives to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Support ongoing review of service standards to continually enhance client satisfaction

What do you need to apply to this role?

  • Prior experience in a similar technical role within the London insurance market (non-marine classes preferred)
  • Intermediate knowledge of the (re)insurance market and placement processes
  • Strong documentation and compliance focus with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams under pressure
  • Working knowledge of London Market processes and platforms (e.g. XIS, IMR, Lineage)
  • Progression towards CII qualification is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
