Angove Partners is partnering with a top-tier Insurance Broker in London, seeking an Insurance Due Diligence specialist.
What is the role?
You’ll work alongside investors on both acquisitions and disposals, providing insightful insurance analysis that helps inform deal decisions. The role also offers the opportunity to build relationships, support and develop junior colleagues, and expand our footprint across infrastructure, energy, and construction markets (outside North America).
What will you be doing?
- Assess existing and historical insurance arrangements to evaluate whether they are fit for purpose
- Highlight risk and insurance considerations that could affect transactions
- Analyse current insurance spend and project future costs following completion
- Examine claims history to identify patterns or areas of concern
- Produce formal due diligence reports and lead discussions with clients on key findings
- Contribute to post-completion insurance placement planning where appropriate
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Act as a technical reference point for the business internationally (excluding North America)
- Create and contribute to marketing content that showcases our expertise across sectors
- Work closely with internal teams and strengthen cross-business relationships
What do you need to apply to this role?
- Minimum 3 years of insurance due diligence experience
- In-depth knowledge of PE/M&A
- Demonstrable relationship-building experience internally and externally
- Prior exposure to insurance due diligence (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
- Clear, confident communication and influencing skills at all levels
- Commercially minded with a client-first approach
- Comfortable engaging with clients, investors, and professional advisors
