At ANGOKA, our mission is to secure the digital foundations of the modern world - embedding trust, resilience, and safety into the communication and data networks that underpin smart cities, autonomous systems, and future aviation. Airports and airspace are increasingly vulnerable to cyberattacks, as highlighted by recent events in Europe. ANGOKA is building the technology platform for a safer, more connected future aviation system. Our aim is to focus and operate first in air, and the resultant product and systems would map rapidly across to other sectors, including directly to land and marine transportation. We invite partners and investors to join us in shaping the digital trust layer for global airspace.

What you will do:

  • Business Development
    • Attend client meetings to understand their requirements, and respond effectively with tailored proposals.
    • Take ownership of our CRM system (Hubspot) by managing existing resources and channelling new data and insights.
    • Support the sales cycle from qualifying prospects through to closures, whilst ensuring KPIs and targets are met.
    • Communicate new product developments to prospective clients.
    • Review clients' feedback and implement necessary changes.
  • Marketing Support
    • Support Angokas marketing and social media activities.
    • Post content and campaigns, ensuring consistency across all channels.
    • Maintain Angokas regular marketing presence, and help tailor content to relevant events, Angoka news and articles.
    • Manage and optimise Angokas presence on our website and social media outlets (WordPress, Twitter & LinkedIn).
    • Work with the team to develop articles, posts, applications and other required documents for events and projects.
    • Assist the creation of, and update existing collateral for marketing and events.
    • Keep up to date with industry changes and news to support the creation of timely, relevant and topical articles, posts and thought-leadership content.
  • Event Management
    • Organise and execute the end-to-end process of virtual and in person events and conferences of various sizes.
    • Establish an effective process for events, to help coordinate events within agreed schedules, scopes and budgets.
    • Effectively liaise with key stakeholders, speakers and event organisers, ensuring objectives and requirements are clearly agreed and communicated.
    • Source suitable components that create a successful event, including: materials, suppliers, video platforms, collateral and venues.
    • Attend virtual and in person events (some travel may be involved).
    • Deliver event feedback to key stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

  • An ambitious self-starter with the desire to grow in an exciting industry.
  • Detail oriented, with excellent organisational skills, and can manage conflicting deadlines and changing requirements.
  • At least 3 years experience in Business Development or Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
  • Degree level education in a relevant subject is preferred.
  • Experience in executing events in various formats and managing an events calendar.
  • Strong interest in cyber security, IoT, and technology.
  • Proven knowledge of social media platforms and internet tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely.
  • Interpersonal skills and excellent business and commercial acumen.
  • Able to work well under pressure when faced with time-sensitive, business-critical issues.
  • Experience with IT tools/systems such as MS Office, Google Workspace, CRM.
  • The ability to grasp a variety of platforms and systems quickly.
