For over 50 years we have run English language and activity programmes for young overseas students. Anglophiles Academic is a well-established, private educational company founded in 1973 with a reputation for quality and professionalism. We run English Language courses and activity programmes for overseas students. Students are aged mainly between 11 to 17 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other Anglophiles staff, including Local Organizers and Group Leaders on-site.
  • Host Family Programme & Residential Programme: carry out English language tests on the first day and adjust student placements based on provisional class lists.
  • Discover Programmes: deliver the interactive student activity booklet.
  • If working full-time, accompany and supervise students during excursions, breaks, and ensure their safe return to host family homes.
  • Prepare students for excursions and provide a course summary on the last teaching day.
  • Ensure discipline, safety, and student well-being, reporting any issues to Anglophiles Head Office.
  • Complete required reports promptly, including Daily Report Sheets, End of Course Summary Report, and individual Student Reports.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with residential staff and homestay local organisers and leaders to ensure a seamless learning experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall language education programme.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in English or Education.
  • TEFL, TESOL, CELTA (120 hour certification) or PGCE.
  • Experience is preferred for this position.
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure is essential, willingness to purchase one, if you are not subscribed to the update service.

Salary is dependent on experience and length of the contract.
