Our client has an immediate requirement for a Project Engineer to join their team in Manchester. The role is to coordinate and manage internal Support Functions and sub-contract Supply Chain partners in the multi-disciplined portfolio of work with United Utilities/Severn Trent Water. The role supports the project delivery teams by managing concept development and detailed design solutions based on client and site-specific requirements for water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities for a Project Engineer will include: – Attend site meetings and client meetings – Coordinate the Design through the ECI Phase working with the Project Manager – Working with the team to participate in VE, R&O and feasibility studies – Meet Stakeholders – Assist in writing ITTs – ensuring correct scope is included for each partner – Working with the Estimating Team – throughout phases – Coordinate multidiscipline supply chain and Designers – working with PM’s & M&E support – Issue draft drawings internally and to clients – Attend design meetings with clients and internally – Document control – Asite, Sharepoint etc – Help transition from ECI & Detailed Design Phase to project delivery team – Procurement schedule input – Coordinate the technical query process – Coordinate multidiscipline supply chain and Designers – working with PMs & M&E support – Ensuring delivery …
