The Marine HR Department is playing a critical role in ensuring that our organization has a skilled and competent workforce to support our operations. We arrange and coordinate all aspects relative to Worksite Personnel being employed, paid, appointed, joining and leaving Client Worksites, all in accordance with the company Quality Management System and associated work processes and client specific requirements. What You will Do
- This position is responsible for the recruitment of Officers and Ratings from the Market.
- Making telephone calls to seafarers from CAS, job portals, and references.
- Coordinating CBTs and interviews by managers.
- Handling documentation and certificate verification of shortlisted seafarers.
- Obtaining approvals from line managers and final approval from the MD.
- Liaising with the Operations team for entry into the CIS, and scheduling training courses, medicals, and travel bookings for courses.
- Conducting reference checks with previous companies and MASSA.
- Arranging office briefings—meeting pool managers, directors, and the managing director.
- Completing personal files with all requisite approvals.
What We Are Looking For
- To have at least one year experience in Recruiting.
- Preferable experience in Ship Management.
- Good English-speaking ability, with strong communication and leadership skills.
