What you'll do
- Own and develop the group's international tax and transfer pricing strategy, ensuring effective governance and alignment with evolving regulatory and business requirements.
- Identify, manage and mitigate cross-border tax and transfer pricing risks and opportunities, ensuring appropriate allocation of profits and costs across jurisdictions.
- Oversee transfer pricing compliance and control frameworks, driving process improvement and technology-enabled transformation.
- Provide technical tax advice on international matters, including policy development, legislative change impacts and uncertain tax positions.
- Partner with Country Tax Leads and key stakeholders to embed tax strategy, support decision-making and ensure consistent global application.
- Lead tax authority engagement, audits and dispute resolution, while managing external advisors and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
What you bring
- Experienced Tax Manager with expertise in international tax and transfer pricing, ideally gained in a global organisation.
- Proven track record in overseeing cross-border tax matters across multiple jurisdictions, including LATAM, South Africa, UK and Singapore.
- Strong leadership experience, providing oversight and advice across international tax and transfer pricing.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team, including coaching, training and knowledge transfer.
- Experience engaging with tax authorities such as HMRC, with the ability to manage audits, queries and complex stakeholder interactions.
- Exposure to tax systems, process change and transformation initiatives would be advantageous, alongside strong commercial awareness and stakeholder influencing skills.
