Job Description
The role involves financial modelling to support the development and utilization of the Group\'s internal and external valuation models. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting financial modelling requirements for Strategy Setting, Planning, and Defence events, including building, operationalizing, and maintaining models such as DCF, 3-statement models, and multiples.
- Engaging with external consultants to enhance model capability, integrate with financial systems, and enable executive-level decision-making.
- Analyzing the impact of significant projects and transactions on the Group\'s balance sheet and transaction affordability.
- Interpreting valuation model outputs to support value-based decisions.
- Collaborating with Group Finance functions to ensure policy compliance and support external reporting.
- Supporting senior management in communication and delivery of commitments.
- Presenting to senior stakeholders, including Finance Directors and VPs.
- Maintaining awareness of market and economic environments affecting the Group\'s strategy and valuation.

Demonstrate alignment with the Group\'s values, develop performance, foster a positive work environment, and collaborate effectively across teams.
Work Processes
Understand and improve policies, processes, and systems, escalate issues as needed, and manage complex projects to enhance capital planning maturity.
Qualifications
- B.A., B.S. or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- CA, CPA, ACA, ACMA, CFA, MBA or similar qualification.
Technical Knowledge
- Experience in investment banking, management consulting, accounting, or related fields.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, modelling, and valuation.
- Knowledge of extractive industries and data/IT systems is advantageous.
- Experience in preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership.
