What you’ll do:

  • Support the preparation and review of Group financial statements, including note disclosures for annual and interim reporting.
  • Ensure Group Financial Reporting processes run effectively, meeting all reporting deadlines and maintaining high-quality outputs.
  • Act as a key contact for Group Reporting, reviewing submissions from business units and providing technical accounting and consolidation (HFM) guidance.
  • Review and analyse financial information submitted by business units for monthly reporting, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Support finance projects and system enhancements, including testing and implementing changes to the Group consolidation system (HFM) and driving continuous improvements.
  • Deliver technical accounting support and training on financial reporting standards and developments to business units and Group functions.

What you bring:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CA).
  • Experience within the mining industry would be desirable or experience within a Big 4 or similar environment.
  • Proven financial reporting and group consolidations experience within a complex multinational business.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting expertise, including experience supporting interim and year-end reporting.
  • Confident working with large and complex financial datasets, with strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) is highly desirable or a similar consolidation tool.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across international teams.
