Key Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Planning & Governance
- Coordinate annual and multi‑year strategic planning cycles across all regions, ensuring alignment with global priorities.
- Manage planning timelines, inputs, templates, and deliverables to enable efficient and consistent regional engagement.
- Consolidate regional strategic submissions into a cohesive global narrative for senior leadership review.
- Facilitate cross‑functional workshops, strategy reviews, and senior leadership meetings.
- Develop, maintain, and disseminate timely market, customer, and competitor intelligence that informs strategic and commercial decisions.
- Track competitor activity, industry developments, government policies, and market trends with potential impact on long‑range plans.

- Produce robust intelligence reports and deep‑dive analyses (both recurring and ad‑hoc) with clear, actionable insights.

- Develop and maintain standardised frameworks to evaluate commercial opportunities across regions.
- Maintain dashboards and KPI tracking tools to monitor performance against annual and long‑term targets.
- Analyse performance variances, identify risks, and recommend corrective or improvement actions.
- Prepare materials for monthly and quarterly strategic business reviews for executive leadership.
- Partner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and long‑range planning activities.
- Provide insights to Operations to inform capacity and production planning decisions.
- Support regional teams with structured insights that translate global strategy into clear regional action plans.
- Contribute to business cases for future technical and agronomy initiatives, ensuring recommendations are data‑driven and aligned to strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a business, analytical, or related discipline.
- Experience working within a commercial and/or strategic function.
- Proven ability to analyse and synthesise qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources, identify patterns, draw conclusions, and translate findings into clear insights and implications.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple, varied projects and handling large and complex datasets.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis outputs and their application to commercial decision‑making.
- Knowledge of agronomy or the mining industry is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in the farm inputs industry (e.g. fertilizers, seeds, food) in a similar commercial or strategic role is preferred.
