Angling Direct is home to one of the UK’s largest fishing communities and is looking to expand its brand new competitions platform, AD Win. We’re looking for a Competitions Co-ordinator to support the day-to-day running of this fast-growing platform. This is a hands-on role within a new business unit that sits inside an established PLC, meaning no two days are the same and flexibility is key. About the Role
AD Win is still in its growth phase, so this role is intentionally broad. You’ll work closely with the Competitions Manager to keep the platform running smoothly, support customers, and help deliver competitions and live draws to a high standard, while actively contributing to how the platform develops. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and wants to be involved in building something from the ground up, with the stability of a well-established business behind it. An interest in fishing or angling is a strong advantage due to the nature of the platform and our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Competitions & Customer Experience
- Supporting customer queries related to competition prizes.
- Reporting and processing instant win prizes.
- Maintaining accurate records of winners, prizes, and dispatch status.
- Content & Platform Support
- Assisting with competition uploads and scheduling.
- Helping prepare competition data, upload files, and results posts.
- Supporting website content updates where required.
- Live Draws & Social Support
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of live draws.
- Supporting on-camera when required.
- Helping publish draw results across the website and social platforms.
- Operations & Fulfilment Support
- Picking and preparing prizes when required.
- Assisting with dispatch during busy periods.
- Working with warehouse teams to ensure prizes are sent accurately and on time.
- Helping manage stock movement and transfers to ensure competitions run smoothly.
- General Co-ordination
- Supporting influencer and content scheduling.
- Helping with reporting and basic performance tracking.
- Getting involved in ad-hoc tasks as the platform continues to grow.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Willing to be hands-on and adaptable as the business evolves.
- Good basic IT skills (spreadsheets, CMS, email, social platforms).
Desirable
- Interest in fishing or angling.
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, customer service, or digital roles.
- Comfortable appearing on camera or keen to learn.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools or content platforms.
