We are seeking a Financial Capability Caseworker to join our Financial Wellbeing & Community team in Liverpool, with a strong focus on supporting clients from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. This role provides targeted, early-intervention financial capability for casework to individuals and families experiencing financial stress or vulnerability. Working in community and outreach settings, you will support clients to understand their financial situation, build money management skills, and develop healthy financial behaviours.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct person-centred, trauma-informed financial capability assessments in community and office settings
  • Support clients to develop money plans, budgeting skills and financial confidence
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records in line with funding and organisational requirements

Skills and experience

  • Degree in Social Work, Community Services or similar, or relevant qualifications with substantial experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with clients from CALD backgrounds
  • Ability to communicate sensitively across cultures and lived experience
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • Well-developed written, verbal and computer skills
  • Financial Literacy Education certification or willingness to obtain
