Domestic Assistants – Community Home Care

Our Stafford Home and Community service is seeking part-time Service Support Workers. These workers provide support through household cleaning, laundry, cooking, and social support to our older population, assisting them around their homes.

About the role:

• The physical demands may include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, etc.
• Meet cleaning and service standards outlined by Anglicare.
• Complete duties within the expected timeframe.
• Use equipment as instructed to minimize injury risk, follow manual handling and safe driving practices in accordance with procedures and training.
• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) is highly regarded but not required.

About you:

• Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Current National Police Certificate.
• Tetanus and Hepatitis B vaccinations or willingness to obtain.
