We're looking for an

Assistant Credit Controller to join our growing national business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and an interest in finance to play a key role in supporting cash collection activities and maintaining customer accounts.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Credit Control team to manage customer accounts and outstanding balances.
  • Contacting customers by telephone and email regarding overdue payments.
  • Allocating incoming payments and updating customer records accurately.
  • Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.
  • Producing reports and maintaining accurate account information.
  • Assisting with month-end processes and credit control administration.
  • Building positive relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience within Credit Control, or administration and customer service experience gained within a finance environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience working within a finance or credit control environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
