Location: Peterborough / Hybrid

We’re the @one Alliance – a ground-breaking collaboration between Anglian Water and seven industry-leading partners: Balfour Beatty, Barhale, Binnies, MMB, MWH Treatment, Skanska and SWECO. Together, we deliver over half of Anglian Water’s capital investment programme. As we enter into AMP8, our most ambitious period yet, we’ll be delivering an even broader range of innovative and environmentally-driven infrastructure projects – from urban drainage to nature-based solutions like constructed wetlands.

We’re looking for a SHEQ Skills and Competence Coordinator to help us streamline training, facilitate learning, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, all while engaging with our teams to promote continuous development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing SHEQ strategies, including supporting facilitators and managing data systems.
  • Coordinate SHEQ training sessions and track key performance metrics to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate communication between the Skills and Competence team and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain training records and provide reporting on SHEQ programme metrics.
  • Help manage training events and presentations, ensuring smooth delivery across teams.
  • Provide expert support for SHEQ learning and development initiatives, including Safer Everyday Letters Orientations and the Alliance Passport to Work.
  • Assist in coordinating health, safety, and wellbeing training sessions.
  • Provide administrative support for cross-functional teamwork, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the Alliance.
  • Coordinate training logistics and maintain up-to-date competency records for reporting and audits.
  • Produce detailed reports on training performance, helping to track progress against SHEQ targets.
