Your Purpose
As an Electrical Engineer within one of our four business units, you’ll provide Electrical Engineering technical input to projects in the Anglian Water region.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems particular specifications schedules, data sheets and drawings.
- Design and specify LV Assemblies particular specifications schedules, data sheets and drawings (i.e. MCC, LV Switchboards and Control Panels).
- Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors (i.e. electrical schematics, cable calculations and termination diagrams).
- Liaise with others on technical issues, the construction team, operations, suppliers, and utility companies.
- Specify and select instrumentation based on the process design.
About You
You will ideally have:
- Demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
- Strong Electrical Engineering background
- willingness to be collaborative and work with a multi‑disciplined team, working together to solve complex problems
- Experience in the Water Industry is an advantage
- As site visits will be required, you will need a full UK driving licence.
Depending on your skills, experience, and interests, you could be aligned to one of our four business units:
- Place Based Thinking - The Place Based Thinking team delivers some of the largest and most complex projects across the @one Alliance.
- Water - The Water Business Unit provides strategic support across the clean water network, covering both system performance and infrastructure planning.
- Water Recycling (East and West) - Our Water Recycling Business Unit, split into East and West regions, is responsible for the collection, conveyance, and treatment of wastewater across an extensive network.
