The predicted salary is between 45760 - 60000 £ per year.

£45,760 plus overtime and standby payments, with opportunity for pay progression up to £60,000. Business use of company van, tools and PPE equipment. Permanent, Full time, 37 hours p/w, with flexibility for part time. Location: Milton Keynes, Bedford and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities:

  • You’ll be responsible for wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.
  • This includes:
    • Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment
    • Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions
    • Assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation and automation teams
    • Utilise electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues
    • React to technical issues to maintain water supply

What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?

  • Level 3 electrical qualification AND Completed an electrical apprenticeship
  • Strong health & safety focus
  • Industrial electrical experience
  • Ability to work standby-by and overtime as necessary

As well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our electrical assets, you will work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes.
