Are you an experienced Workday specialist looking for an opportunity to use your technical expertise to improve systems, processes and colleague experience?
We're looking for a Senior People Systems Specialist to join our People Systems team.
You'll play a key role in developing, configuring and enhancing Workday, providing technical and analytical expertise and supporting the wider People team and business leaders to make informed decisions.
As a Workday subject matter expert, you'll provide second-line support for complex issues, lead continuous improvement activity and work closely with stakeholders across the business to identify and implement effective system solutions.
- What you'll be doing
- Act as a subject matter expert across multiple Workday SKUs, providing complex troubleshooting and second-line support.
- Develop and configure Workday business processes, including approval chains and rules.
- Create complex Workday reports and calculated fields, using advanced reporting capabilities to provide meaningful insight.
- Perform complex EIBs and support Workday integrations and interfaces.
- Support Workday security, access management and associated audits, ensuring sensitive colleague data is appropriately protected.
- Lead and support Workday release management, including planning, testing, implementation and communication.
- Identify opportunities to improve Workday functionality, processes and colleague experience.
- Work closely with People workstream leads, IT partners and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Support projects and continuous improvement initiatives, including solution design, testing and implementation.
- Provide guidance, mentoring and knowledge sharing to colleagues within the People Systems team.
- What you'll need
You'll have substantial experience of complex Workday development and configuration , with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.

Specific knowledge of one or more of these Workday areas is preferred.
You'll also ideally have
- Strong Workday Advanced Reporting skills, including experience creating complex reports and calculated fields.
- Experience of integrations between Workday and SAP or other third-party systems .
- Experience of Workday business process design and configuration.
- Experience of Workday release management.
- Experience with Workday security and access management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience of working within a People/HR environment and a good understanding of HR processes.
- Experience of Workday Extend would be advantageous.
You'll be someone who enjoys getting into the detail, solving complex problems and finding better ways of doing things.
You'll also be confident communicating with stakeholders and sharing your knowledge with others.
