Join Our Team as a Programme Coordinator - Shape the Long-Term Future of Water Recycling Planning. Are you ready to make a lasting impact on how we shape and future-proof our water recycling services? If so, we’re on the lookout for a driven Programme Coordinator with a passion for planning for the long-term. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in tackling some of the biggest challenges facing our region’s water recycling systems. From climate resilience to sustainable growth, you’ll be key to developing a plan that will deliver value for customers, protect the environment, and drive long-term change in the East of England.
Working within the project team, you will be a key cog in ensuring the successful delivery of our Drainage and Wastewater Management Plan (DWMP), a 25 year statutory plan that sets our water recycling strategy from 2030 and feeds into our five-yearly business plan submission. Supporting internal experts, you will be critical to the team’s success by leading on financial administration, document control, risk management, procurement, programme management and general administration.
In this exciting development role, you will build your project management skills by working with a range of consultants and internal and external stakeholders, so you must have excellent communication and relationship building skills. You must be a self-starter, with excellent IT skills and the initiative to identify areas for improvement and drive solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain valuable project management and long-term utilities planning experience, working on a multi-billion-pound statutory plan!
Key Accountabilities:- Programme Coordination
- Work with the Project Manager and key stakeholders to maintain and update the programme.
- Coordinate deliverables and governance documents.
- Organise and manage key meetings.
- Track internal deadlines.
- Provide general programme support, including meeting minutes, presentations, and admin tasks.
- Monitor spend against forecast.
- Raise purchase orders and invoicing.
- Help compile monthly financial and programme performance reports.
- Help plan and document stakeholder and consultant meetings.
- Track stakeholder communications and ensure aligned with the stakeholder plan.
- Maintain project documentation and version control.
- Own the Sharepoint site and document control processes.
- Ensure the Lighthouse Page is regularly updated.
- Assist with the development of statutory reporting.
- Ensure action logs are maintained.
- Facilitate monthly risk meetings and help maintain the risk/opportunity registers.
