What Will You Be Doing as a Technical Training & Development Manager?
This is a technical role focused on ensuring our frontline teams-this role will focus on Leakage operations -are trained, competent and equipped to deliver exceptional performance.
You'll play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality, innovative training and assessment solutions that support operational excellence, safety and regulatory compliance.
Working closely with operational teams, H&S, water quality, and external partners, you will:
Deliver and coordinate technical training and assessment for frontline operational teams and partners
Lead on CABWI LTO unit assessments , ensuring compliance with industry standards
Develop, review and continuously improve training materials to reflect evolving operational needs and best practice
Ensure all training supports safe working, environmental protection and water quality standards
Use feedback and performance data to enhance the learner experience and training effectiveness
Balance training delivery with operational demands, ensuring minimal disruption to service
Support the development and implementation of competency frameworks aligned to the Competent Operator Framework
Contribute to the creation of consistent operating standards, procedures and work instructions
Work with internal and external stakeholders to introduce new techniques, technologies and training methods
Explore innovative delivery methods (e.g. digital learning, local skills
