We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Programme Benefits Analyst to join our Major Projects team within Strategic Asset Management. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the benefits from large-scale, strategic projects are clearly defined, tracked, and realised in alignment with Anglian Water's business goals.
You will work at the intersection of project delivery and business strategy, providing critical insight and assurance that the value promised in business cases is achieved and sustained post-implementation.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with sponsors and delivery teams to define and prioritise measurable benefits.
- Develop benefits maps and profiles aligned with strategic objectives.
- Maintain benefits realisation plans and monitor performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage senior stakeholders to ensure ownership and accountability for benefit delivery.
- Produce insightful reports and dashboards for governance boards.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of benefits frameworks.
- Experience in benefits management on complex major projects.
- Skilled in benefits mapping, logic modelling, and scenario analysis.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI).
- High attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
- Professional qualification in benefits management (desirable).
- Experience contributing to business cases using the HMT 5-case model.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
