Are you passionate about fly fishing and love being on your feet? Join the Rutland Water Team as a Seasonal Retail Assistant - Casual. Based at our picturesque Rutland Water Fishing Lodge, you'll be the friendly face supporting our customers, serving anglers, and delighting park visitors. Either working in a team or working independently, no two days are the same.
What You'll Do:
- Operate the till and our web-based booking system
- Handle telephone calls and cash transactions
- Perform administrative tasks
- Manage day-to-day stock
- Issue season tickets and handle boat hires
- Perform boat admin tasks
- Deliver outstanding customer service
What You Need to Shine:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great communication and social skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and eagerness to learn
- Availability to work weekends and shifts
- Knowledge or experience in fly fishing is a big plus, but not a deal-breaker. If you have excellent customer service skills, we can teach you the fishing ropes.
