Salary Circa £47k-£52k depending on skills and experience + Car Allowance

Permanent, Full time, 37 hours with flexibility for part time

Location: Norwich and surrounding area. Travel across the Anglian Water region may be required.

Hybrid working - Expectation is 2/3 days a week on site, 2/3 from home.

Join Anglian Water as a Project Engineer - Maintenance Delivery! Are you an experienced engineer looking to make a significant impact in the water industry? Anglian Water is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our growing Maintenance Delivery team and help ensure the efficient delivery of capital programmes across our Water Supply assets.

About the Role:

As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in enabling and coordinating project delivery while ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, technical specifications, operational requirements, and stakeholder needs. You will work closely with operational colleagues, delivery teams, programme management, and other stakeholders to drive efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capital Maintenance Delivery: Support the end-to-end capital delivery process, ensuring maximum risk reduction and value for expenditure.
  • Programme Delivery: Coordinate and support the execution of regional maintenance programmes, ensuring accurate asset data management and monthly reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage with all stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy of project data and capturing efficiency data.
  • Health and Safety: Complete and comply with all operational site H&S requirements, undertake H&S audits, and produce CDM documentation.
  • Safer Every Day: Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety, ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Appropriate engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations
  • Strong IT literacy and commercial acumen
  • Experience managing a capital budget and resource planning
  • Experience within the water or wastewater environment (desirable not essential)

  • Strong and adaptable communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workloads to meet tight deadlines
