Are you ready to lead the development and delivery of systems and operations strategy for one of the UK's most ambitious water infrastructure programmes? We are seeking a Strategic Systems and Interface Manager to join our Programme Solutions team, guiding the successful delivery of the Fens and Lincolnshire Reservoirs projects.
About the Role
This pivotal role will shape the definition and communication of external and internal system interfaces, ensuring a holistic approach to project objectives and supporting the development of specifications and risk allocation. You'll collaborate with sponsors, internal teams, and a wide range of external stakeholders - including regulatory bodies and water companies - to ensure project requirements are defined, allocated, and fulfilled.
What You'll Be Doing
- Systems Operation Strategy: Lead the planning, design, and implementation of robust asset systems and operational modes, integrating with broader project strategies. Establish key contractual system requirements and ensure effective integration with existing assets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Anglian Water, Cambridge Water, Environment Agency, and supply chain partners.
- Client Technical Support: Mobilise subject matter expertise to respond to programme queries, asset standard deviations, and technical requests. Ensure responses are proportionate, consistent, and justifiable, supporting DCO delivery and commercial procurement.
- System and Operation Delivery: Oversee scoping and delivery of task orders with progress monitoring and liaison with engineering and programme management teams.
- Health, Safety & Wellbeing: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining a zero-accident culture.
