We are looking for maternity cover for a Scheduling Strategy & Configuration Manager to lead the strategic development, configuration, and continuous improvement of our Scheduling & Mobility solutions. This is a pivotal role shaping how we plan, schedule, and deliver work across Operational Services - driving environmental risk reduction, efficiency, and service improvement. This is a really exciting opportunity with the scope for you to deliver and build on our AMP strategies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, roadmap, and ongoing development of our scheduling and mobility solutions, ensuring all enhancements and configuration changes deliver measurable business value and align with best practice.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analysing work management processes, directing optimisation activity, prioritising change, and enabling effective Agile delivery across the CoE team.
  • Oversee team leadership, governance, and compliance - aligning the CoE to performance targets, preparing audit documentation, and deputising for the Head of Ops Planning & Scheduling where required.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, building strong cross‑functional relationships and ensuring clear communication, alignment, and understanding of system changes across the organisation.
  • Manage the partnership with our Scheduling & Mobility solution provider, owning the Customer Success Plan and influencing product direction through active external engagement.

Role Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of Agile methodologies with a track record of leading Agile teams.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience at all levels of an organisation.
  • Proven strategic leadership capability with experience driving digital or operational transformation.
  • Deep understanding and awareness of operational issues.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging communication for business audiences.
  • Strong coaching, facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Resilience, creativity, collaboration skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Oracle Field Service or other Field Service Management solutions (desirable).
