Starting salary: £38,000 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject) and £34,000 for candidates with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject). Clear progression opportunities to earn up to £46,000 with further training and experience. All PPE, tools, and fuel card provided. Permanent full-time, with flexibility for part-time, 37 hours, 5-day working pattern including some weekends.
Location: Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby and surrounding areas.

Get ready to make a difference and join us as a maintenance technician, responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults, and completing scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets. This role is not just about doing a job; it has a real purpose; it's about protecting our environment.
With support from a collaborative team, your mechanical knowledge will enable you to be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of water recycling assets, including equipment installed at water treatment works, as well as carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on our mechanical assets. Experience working with mechanical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes, and general mechanical/electrical plant maintenance would also be advantageous.
To be successful in this role, you must have obtained an NVQ level 2 or 3 (mechanical/engineering) qualification (or equivalent) and/or completed a relevant apprenticeship and hold a full UK driving licence.
